Patricia M. Félix



ABOUT





Patricia M. Félix is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Barcelona. Her work explores themes of memory, identity, childhood and human relationships through documentary, fiction and moving image.

She studied filmmaking at the International School of Film and Television (EICTV) in Cuba and at the New York Film Academy. Her work has been presented through festivals, exhibitions and international development programmes, including ZINEBI, DocsBarcelona, IDFA, LOOP,  and Ciclope. 
Her documentary project Jo Sóc received the Best National Documentary Project Award at ZINEBI Networking and continues its development through leading European documentary initiatives.

Working across film, documentary and video art, Patricia develops projects that combine a strong visual sensibility with an interest in personal stories, memory and emotional experience.
Patricia is currently working on two documentary films:

“Jo sóc”
Follows a group of children in a public school in Barcelona over more than a decade, exploring how education shapes identity, critical thinking and the transition from childhood to adolescence.

“Agroalimen”
A documentary about it’s journey towards sustainability, examining how environmental and social responsibility are shaping its future.
